Erika Vikman wins UMK25
Erika Vikman has won this year’s Uuden musiikin kilpailu (UMK) and will carry the Finnish flag in Eurovision 2025. The final of UMK25 took place tonight in Nokia Areena, Tampere, and there were six contestants competing for the ticket to Basel:
- Costee – ”Sekaisin”
- Neea River – ”Nightmares”
- Goldielocks – ”Made Of”
- Viivi – ”Aina”
- Nelli Matula – ”Hitaammin hautaan”
- Erika Vikman – ”Ich Komme”
The winner was decided by the combined votes of the international juries (25 %) and the public voting (75 %). The seven international juries came from Croatia, The Netherlands, Lithuania, San Marino, Spain, Estonia and Switzerland. After the jury votes the results were the following:
- Goldielocks 74 points
- Erika Vikman 68 points
- Nelli Matula 50 points
- Costee 40 points
- Viivi 38 points
- Neea River 24 points
After the jury votes the votes of the public were added to the results. Erika Vikman was a favorite of the public, and the final results were the following:
- Erika Vikman 430 points
- Goldielocks 303 points
- Viivi 138 points
- Nelli Matula 138 points
- Neea River 84 points
- Costee 83 points
