Guest Juror for the Chefsache ESC 2025 Semi-Final has been announced

The guest judge for the semi-final of Chefsache ESC 2025 – Wer singt für Deutschland? has been announced and it will be the singer-songwriter Max Giesinger.

Max is a German singer-song writer with 13 years singing career, best known for his hit song from 2016, he has released a total of five albums. He is joining the judges panel which was there for the heats:

  • Stefan Raab (German representative at Eurovision 2000, TV host and producer)
  • Yvonne Catterfeld (singer and songwriter)
  • Elton (comedian and TV host)

The host of the show is Barbara Schöneberger. After the two qualifying rounds of German national selection for Eurovision Song Contest 2025 have finished, the line up for the next stage with a total of 14 acts is set. The semi-final will take place on 22nd of February and out of those 14 acts the 9 finalists will be selected. The final show is set to take place on 1st of March.

  • Abor & Tynna
  • Cosby
  • Jonathan Henrich
  • JALN
  • LEONORA
  • From Fall To Spring
  • Cloudy June

  • Lyza

Last year in Malmö, Germany managed to break the curse of being placed among the last acts competing in the final of Eurovision Song Contest as ISAAK managed to receive a total of 117 points which was enough for 12th place. You can check out the performance below
