What a night! Eurovizija.LT 2025 just finished and we have a winner! Katarsis will represent Lithuania in Basel, Eurovision 2025 in May!
Tonight’s final had twelve performances in Kaunas, Žalgiris Arena. The show was hosted by Gabrielė Martirosian, Nombeko Augustė and Rimvydas Černiauskas.
The songs were presented in teh following order:
- Noy – “Just Take Me on a Date”
- Gøya – “After Storm”
- Liepa – “Ar mylėtum”
- Gebrasy – “Whole”
- Amoralu – “Freedom”
- Anyanya – “Running Out of Time”
- Justė Baradulinaitė – “Tired”
- Katarsis – “Tavo akys“
- Petunija – “Į saldumą“
- Sophie Ali – “The Bluest Bell”
- Lion Ceccah – “Drobė”
- Black Biceps – “Visaip man reik”
During the night we also saw extra interval acts, with Rokas Yan, Monika Liu (2022) and Vaidas Baumila (2015 with Monika Linkytė).
The first round voting was done by a combination of jury and audience votes and then the three acts which had the most points performed again in a superfinal, where the winner was decided by the audience votes.
These three acts qualified for the superfinal round:
- Katarsis – “Tavo akys“
- Liepa – “Ar mylėtum”
- Lion Ceccah – “Drobė”
But after that, with the audience votes, Katarsis triumphed, and got the ticket to Basel!
