Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2025 is taking place this week, and across three shows, Malta will select their entry for Basel. Rehearsals have already started in Ta’ Qali, and just before the rehearsals started, we had a chance to catch up with Kurt Calleja, who’s returning to MESC after winning this Contest, and successfully representing Malta in Eurovision 2012 in Baku with “This Is The Night”.

We spoke to Kurt about his experience from Eurovision 2012 in Baku, the reasons behind his comeback to MESC, the confusion about MESC last year, as well as his new entry “Aziz/a”. Check out everything he told us in this interview below:
