Melodifestivalen 2025 Heat 2 Snippets Revealed

This morning, Swedish broadcaster, SVT has released the snippets for the songs competing in the Heat 2 of Melodifestivalen 2025. Total of six acts are competing at Scandinavium in Gothenburg this Saturday for a chance to advance to the final which is set to take place on 8th of March at Strawberry Arena in Stockholm.

You can check out the running order, as well as the snippets of each song below:

  1. Nomi Tales – “Funniest Thing”
  2. Schlagerz – “ Don Juan”
  3. Erik Segerstedt – “Show Me What Love Is”
  4. Klara Hammarström – “On and On and On”
  5. Fredrik Lundman – “The Heart of a Swedish Cowboy”
  6. Kaliffa – “Salute”

Two of these songs will advance directly to the final and unlike previous edition only the third placed entry will be getting a chance to receive one of the last two spots in the grand final of Melodifestivalen by competing in the final qualification round which will take place at the end of fifth heat. The top two songs in the qualification round will advance to the final which will consist out of 12 songs.

The two acts which qualified from Heat 1 were John Lundvik and Maja Ivarsson while Meira Omar advanced to the final qualification round. The hosts of all Melodifestivalen shows are Keyyo and Edvin Törnblom. The shows are taking place in six different cities and those are:

  • Heat 1 – 1st of February at Coop Norrbotten Arena in Luleå
  • Heat 2 – 8th of February at Scandinavium in Gothenburg
  • Heat 3 – 15th of February at Västerås Arena in Västerås
  • Heat 4 – 22nd of February at Malmö Arena in Malmö
  • Heat 5 – 1st of March at Husqvarna Garden in Jönköping
  • Final – 8th of March at Strawberry Arena in Stockholm
