Nora: ‘The song mixes my experience of Arabic culture and love and unity we have as human beings’

Norwegian national selection for Eurovision Song Contest 2025, Melodi Grand Prix, takes place this Saturday with some changes to it as for the first time since 2019 the show will feature only the grand final and in addition to that after a 6 years break it returns to Oslo Spektrum. The hosts will be: Marte Stokstad, Tete Lidbom and Markus Neby and a total of nine acts will compete for a chance to represent this Scandinavian country in Basel.

One of the nine artists competing this Saturday is a returnee to the show Nora Jabri. She was the runner up of MGP 2012 with “Somewhere beautiful” and now she is presenting us something completely different with her entry “Sulale” in addition to that Nora was one of the authors behind LLL’s “Parasyte”. We had a lovely chat about , the creative process behind “Sulale” as well as the performance which she is preparing. You can watch the full interview below:
