Ogenj: ‘We knew that we need to have tamburica riff in order to represent our culture’
The second semi-final of Croatian national selection for Eurovision Song Contest 2025, Dora is set to take place on 28th of February. A total of twelve acts are competing for a chance to be one of the eight who will advance to the final of the show which is set for Sunday, 2nd of March.
One of those acts is the band Ogenj from Koprivnica who performs ethno punk music music in Kajkavian dialect. They started their musical journey at the end of 2015 as an acoustic trio which later on became a bigger band which consists of: Andrija Bricelj (accordion), Leonardo Ivačič (bass guitar), Neven Žnidar (drums), Petar Šimčić (electric guitar), Tomislav Mihac Kovačić (vocals, acoustic guitar, tamburica).
