Sinerģija: ‘We are planning to release a Latvian version of our song along with the album’
The final of Latvian national selection for Eurovision Song Contest 2025, Supernova, is set to take place tomorrow evening. The final features a total of 10 acts and will be broadcast from Riga Film Studio.
One of the ten artists competing this Saturday is a duo called Sinerģija which consists of Madara Fogelmane and Marte Lice. Madara is known to Eurovision audience as she already took part at Supernova in 2018 with Esamība when she ended on 3rd place and in 2020 with Māras zeme when she didn’t manage to reach the finals. Madara obtained her master’s degree at the conservatories of Amsterdam and Brussels. Marte is a music therapist who plays a traditional Latvian instrument, kokle and leads musical meditations. Madara writes songs that incorporate Marte’s instrumental playing, creating concert meditations.
