The line up for the semi-final of Chefsache ESC 2025 is complete
The second qualifying round of German national selection for Eurovision Song Contest 2025 has finished and the line up for the next stage which fill feature a semi-final with total of 14 acts is set. The show was hosted by Barbara Schöneberger.
The running order of second qualifying round was as follows:
- ADINA – “In The Air Tonight” (Phil Collins)
- JALN – “Lose Control” (Teddy Swims)
- LEONORA – “Good Day”
- NI-KA – “The Way You Make Me Feel” (Michael Jackson)
- From Fall To Spring – “Control”
- Noah Levi – “There’s Nothing Holding Me Back” (Shawn Mendes)
- Cloudy June – “Sad Girl Era”
- Parallel – “Noi”
- Moss Kena – “Die With A Smile” (Lady Gaga & Bruno Mars)
- Vincent Varus – “Coffee”
- The Great Leslie – “Fix You” (Coldplay)
- Lyza – “Voilá” (Barbara Pravi)
The ones who advanced were decided solely by the jury which will be the same in the semi-final round while the final will feature only televote, the ones who advanced further were:
- JALN
- LEONORA
- From Fall To Spring
- Cloudy June
- Moss Kena
- The Great Leslie
- Lyza
The jury for the night consisted of:
- Stefan Raab (German representative at Eurovision 2000, TV host and producer)
- Yvonne Catterfeld (singer and songwriter)
- Elton (comedian and TV host)
- Guest member: Johannes Oerding (singer and songwriter)
The ones who qualified to the semi-final from the first qualifying round are the following artists:
- Julika
- Benjamin Braatz
- Cage
- Feuerschwanz
- Abor & Tynna
- Cosby
- Jonathan Henrich
The semi-final is set for 22nd of February and out of those 14 acts the 9 finalists will be selected. The final show is set to take place on 1st of March.
Last year in Malmö, Germany managed to break the curse of being placed among the last acts competing in the final of Eurovision Song Contest as ISAAK managed to receive a total of 117 points which was enough for 12th place. You can check out the performance below
