Voting format for the final of Chefsache ESC 2025 announced

German broadcaster, ARD has revealed that there will be a two round voting format in the grand final of Chefsache ESC 2025.

The host of the show is Barbara Schöneberger. After the two qualifying rounds as well as the semi-final of German national selection for Eurovision Song Contest 2025 have finished, we have the line up for the final which is set to take place on 1st of March.  So far all of the decisions were made by the jury however the voting in the final will be done in two rounds. After the 9 finalists perform their song as well as one cover song first voting round will commence, the jury will pick the best five acts to advance to the super final. The second/super final round is the one where out of those five finalists the winner is solely determined by the televotes.

Jury consists out of two regular panelists Stefan Raab and Yvonne Catterfeld as well as two guest judges singer, Nico Santos and winner of Eurovision 2014, Conchita Wurst who will pick five out of the following nine acts to advance to the super final round:

Last year in Malmö, Germany managed to break the curse of being placed among the last acts competing in the final of Eurovision Song Contest as ISAAK managed to receive a total of 117 points which was enough for 12th place. You can check out the performance below
