Ace Bowerman announced as UK’s Creative Director – an “Afternoon Tea” with Remember Monday
ESCBubble had the privilege of attending an “Afternoon Tea” event yesterday with the United Kingdom’s 2025 act, Remember Monday – comprised of Lauren Byrne, Holly-Anne Hull, and Charlotte Steele. Eurovision fans, members of the media, BBC production crew, and the artist’s friends and family alike were invited to this event which was held in London’s Theatre Royal Drury Lane – a casa very grandioso indeed.
After being escorted in and presented with an arrangement of canapés and champagne, the three girls came out alongside a host who asked them various questions which gave us an insight into both their personalities and their relationship with Eurovision.
The girls told us they have five matching tattoos and that they plan on getting a sixth if they secure a top five placement this year. Self-proclaimed Eurovision fan girl Charlotte told us she first got hooked after Alexander Rybak’s 2009 “Fairytale” performance and that she’s also a fan of Kyle Alessandro’s “Lighter” from this year’s cohort. Holly goes on to mention that she once performed for the Queen!
Their track – loosely based on true events – has recently surpassed a million streams on Spotify which was an item on their bucket list. Above all though, they are simply looking forward to meeting this year’s artists at the various upcoming Eurovision events. Today, they are flying to Switzerland for the first time.
The girls then took on a brief Eurovision trivia quiz, turning to Charlotte for most of the answers, before giving us an acoustic version of “What the Hell Just Happened?” where it became clear that vocals won’t be an issue for the United Kingdom this year – their harmonies are effortless.

Shortly after this, it was exclusively revealed that Creative Director for the United Kingdom’s stage performance this year will be Ace Bowerman, who has worked with some huge names including Ed Sheeran, Dua Lipa and BLACKPINK. Ace will also be working with Azerbaijan in this year’s contest.
More than anything, the girl’s friendship, excitement and positivity shone at this event and it is seems hopeful that Remember Monday could bring the United Kingdom back to the left hand side of the scoreboard.
Will the United Kingdom’s performance be ace this year? Something you’ll remember on Monday? Let us know in the comments section below and @ESCBubble on social media!
