Although he spent much of his childhood and adolescence in Russia, he has returned to Armenia. His passion for music began early, singing in the church choir as a child. After moving to Volgograd with his family, PARG pursued his musical education by attending a music school and later graduated from the Volgograd State Institute of Theatre and Cinema with a degree in theatre arts and acting. His time in Russia allowed him to experiment with various genres and musical styles, ultimately leading him to form the indie-folk band Region Chronicles. The band performed throughout Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, and Armenia in the time between 2017 to 2019. After the band split, PARG embarked on a solo career, embracing a name he had carried since childhood which means “Gift.”
