The 25th edition of Slovenian national selection for Eurovision Song Contest took place on 1st of February. A total of 12 acts competed and after a thrilling super final Klemen won the show and he will be waving the Slovenian flag in Basel. He is set to perform in the first half of the first semi final which will take place on 13 of May.

‘How Much Time Do We Have Left’ was composed by Klemen Slakonja himself, along with Maja Slatinšek (Anžej Dežan’s backing vocalist in the 2006 competition) and Ryan Small, who was in charge for its production. The song addresses Klemen’s personal experience during the illness of his wife, actress Mojca Fatur, who was diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome, a rare form of cancer from which she successfully recovered. Klemen Slakonja is a comedian and TV presenter who hosted EMA four times and now he went from the host of it to Slovenian representative at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025.
