Eurovision 2025 First Semi-Final qualifiers revealed
The Eurovision Song Contest 2025 kicked off today with the First Semi-Final broadcast live from Basel, Switzerland. Fifteen countries performed at tonight’s show, but only ten have advanced to the Grand Final on Saturday, May 17.

Hazel Brugger and Sandra Studer have hosted the First Semi-Final of Europe’s favourite TV show. During the Semi-Final, we also watched the performances of three automatic qualifiers, Spain, Italy and Switzerland, which also voted in this Semi-Final. Tonight’s competing countries were:
- Iceland: VÆB – RÓA
- Poland: Justyna Steczkowska – GAJA
- Slovenia: Klemen – How Much Time Do We Have Left
- Estonia: Tommy Cash – Espresso Macchiato
- Ukraine: Ziferblat – Bird of Pray
- Sweden: KAJ – Bara Bada Bastu
- Portugal: NAPA – Deslocado
- Norway: Kyle Alessandro – Lighter
- Belgium: Red Sebastian – Strobe Lights
- Azerbaijan: Mamagama – Run With U
- San Marino: Gabry Ponte – Tutta L’Italia
- Albania: Shkodra Elektronike – Zjerm
- Netherlands: Claude – C’est La Vie
- Croatia: Marko Bošnjak – Poison Cake
- Cyprus: Theo Evan – Shh
