Eurovision Semi Final 2 Predictions

We are already at the second semi final, everyone! After a very intense first semi final, this one promises to be even more heated – many fan favorites are competing, but only 10 of the 16 contenders of tonight will earn their place in this Saturday’s Grand Final. Who will be joining the already chosen ten countries, the Big Five, and Switzerland?

Like in the past semi final, 16 members of our team gathered their predictions on whose names we will see again. A reminder that these predictions don’t necessarily reflect personal taste, but are based upon factors like jury rehearsals, previews, fanbase behavior, and so on.

Let’s find out who the ten contestants our team thinks will go through are!

Definite qualifiers – 12 points for…

Two names appear as definite qualifiers, with all 16 of our team members’ agreement about their place in the Grand Final: Austria’s JJ’s love won’t go to waste, and for sure, Finland’s Erika Vikman will be coming to the stage on Saturday.

Most likely to qualify – Also qualifying is…

Many names appear on this list! A double tie of 15 members think Australia’s Go-Jo’s milkshake will make the whole world dance, and Greece’s Klavdia will light up the stage with starlight. Another double tie of 14 votes think that Malta’s Miriana Conte will be serving finalist, and Israel’s Yuval Raphael will see a new day as a competitor rise. 13 of our members think that Luxembourg’s Laura Thorn will turn up the sound. 12 members of our team think that Czechia’s ADONXS won’t be kissing his spot in the final goodbye. Another name that appears, with 10 votes in favor, is Lithuania’s Katarsis, whose eyes will still be set on the prize. And finally, 9 members think that Latvia’s Tautumeitas will successfully drive curses away and sail to the final.

Borderline qualifiers – Are they survivors?

The names on this list are a quadruple tie of 6 members of our team that think that these names might be seen again in the Grand Final – Ireland’s Emmy’s party could end soon, Armenia’s PARG will have to fight to be a survivor, Denmark’s Sissal’s name could be a hallucination, and Serbia’s Princ’s chances are not that high in our team vote.

Definite non-qualifiers – Maybe next year?

At the bottom of the list, only one member thinks that Georgia’s Mariam Shengelia will free herself from the non-qualification curse, and none of us thinks that Montenegro’s Nina Žižić will be welcomed in the Grand Final. Will they prove us wrong? Only time will tell.
