Luxembourg’s entry for Austria to be selected through a national final
It’s been less than a month after the Grand Final of Eurovision 2025 took place, and Luxembourg has already started working on their plans for the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest, which will take place in Austria. After two successful entries, the Grand Duchy will be competing next year as well, and their entry will be selected through Luxembourg Song Contest once again.
RTL confirmed to us that they will once again organize Luxembourg Song Contest in order to find their entry for Austria, and this national final will once again take place in Rockhal. Full rules of the competition, including how interested artists can submit their applications, will be released in the coming weeks.
Luxembourg Song Contest 2026 is expected to once again take place towards the end of January, however the exact date is yet to be confirmed.
Laura Thorn won this year’s edition of the Luxembourg Song Contest, and went on to represent her country in Basel with “La poupée monte le son”. She qualified for the Grand Final, where she finished in 22nd place.
