Tonight, was held in Amsterdam the second semi-final of the Junior Song Festival 2015. Four acts competed (Nohr, Myrthe, 4LIFE and Eliyha) but only two of them qualified for the final. Last week, Guusje and Shalisa qualified for the Final, in the first semi-final.

The final will be held on October 3rd in Amsterdam. This week, Nohr and 4LIFE qualified for the Final. Guusje, Shalisa, Nohr and 4LIFE are now assured to participate to the final.

Katrina, Myrthe, Eliyha and Daniel, who failed to qualify, but still had amazing performances, can still hope to obtain the wild-card spot to qualify for the Final. Only one of the four acts didn’t qualify from both semi-finals, will receive the wild-card.

2/3 of the votes were given by the jury (kids jury and professional jury) and 1/3 of the votes were given by the televoters. The professional jury members, Gerard Joling, Yes-R and Leona Philippo, gave 12 points to Nohr. The kids jury (led by Julia, last year’s winner) and the televoters gave 12 points to 4LIFE.

During the interval act, the all participants (4LIFE, Nohr, Daniel, Eliyha, Shalisa, Guusje, Katrina and Myrthe) came together and sang the official theme song of the contest, called ”living our dream”.

Next week we shall learn who will represent The Netherlands in Junior Eurovision 2015.
