After introducing a new format and a new location, where EMA 2017 will take place, RTVSLO went to the totally new dimension of biggest Slovenian music competition, which will choose Slovenian act for 2017 Eurovision Song Contest. After introducing two semi – finals and a grand final evening, Amaya (previously known as Maja Keuc, who also represented Slovenia at 2011 Eurovision Song Contest in Düsseldorf, Germany) withdraw from a competition. Earlier today it was announced that she is being replaced by Clemens, who already took part at EMA 2015, with a song, called ‘Mava to’.

ManuElla represented Slovenia at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm, Sweden, with self-written song, ‘Blue And Red’. Unfortunately she didn’t reached a final, but finished at 14th place at 2nd Semi-Final.
