Listen to ”My friend”, Jacques Houdek’s song for Eurovision!

After revealing an instrumental version of his song, a few days ago, Jacques Houdek finally released the full version of his Eurovision entry ”My friend”. You can listen to it right here:

 

Jacques Houdek will compete in the second semi-final in Kiev, at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017, performing in the second half of the show. He will sing his song in two different languages. Jacques Houdek composed the music himself with the help of Sinisa Reljic and Tony Malm. Two musicians also helped him to record the music: Antun Stasic (violin) and Neven Sverko (cello).

Houdek is a 35 year-old singer who won the Porin award for best new artist of the year in Croatia in 2004. He also participated in the Croatian national selection for Eurovision (Dora) twice (2002 and 2011), placing second in 2011, behind Daria Kinzer.

Last year, in Stockholm, Nina Kraljic represented Croatia at Eurovision, with her song ”Lighthouse”. She finished in 23rd place, with a total of 73 points.
