A little over two weeks ago, Netta won the Eurovision Song Contest for Israel, for the 4th time in history, and the broadcaster is already planning next year’s contest. Israeli news website Ynet reports that Gal Gadot, world famous for starring in the movie as ”Wonder Woman” as no other than Woman Woman herself, has been asked to be the or one of the hosts for Eurovision next year.

Sources close to Gal, however, claim that she probably won’t be able to accept the hosting role, due to scheduling problems.
Gal Gadot, by Ynet themselves dubbed the biggest Israeli star in the world right now, appeared up immediately in the discussions that ensued right after Netta had won the competition: that of who should be hosting the Eurovision Song Contest next year. On social media people wished for Gal Gadot en masse and Gal has been in touch with the contest herself, wishing Netta good luck on her Instagram account and asking people to support her in the shape of a vote!
As for next year’s hosting city, that will be announced by broadcaster KAN in September at the latest.
