Katerine Duska will represent Greece in Eurovision 2019!

After a month of rumours going around the Eurovision community, the Greek national broadcaster ERT has finally confirmed – Katerine Duska will represent Greece in the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest in Israel!

ERT’s board chose Katerine Duska unanimously for the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest. They consider that Katerina is a singer with a special sound, highlighted by the songs and lyrics she writes. She released one album so far, in 2016, titled “Embodiment”, where the song “One In A Million” became the most successful song.

Katerine’S musical style includes dark sounds reminiscent of her idols, such as Lykke Li, Banks and Jessie Ware, and the remarkable way she performs her songs has been compared to Amy Winehouse.

Katerine Duska’s Eurovision song is going to be released at a later date. What do you think of her as the Greek Eurovision entrant in 2019? Let us know in the comments below, or on our social media pages.
