Joana Almeida’s Portuguese Junior Eurovision song ‘Vem Comigo (Come With Me)’ is out!

Earlier RTP had reported they had selected Joana Almeida to represent Portugal at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest!
They invited her personally to represent them after she won the popular Portuguese singing contest for children: Gala Internacional dos Pequenos Cantores da Figueira da Foz.

RTP had also revealed they had picked João Pedro Coimbra to write the Portuguese entry, which became: ‘Vem comigo (Come With Me)’!
The theme of the song is the environment and the fact that children and teenagers are well aware of the alarming state our earth is in these days.
The song speaks of hope and that the youth can make a change and their generation can have a positive impact on our planet!

The song has now been released and you can listen to it here below!

Joana’s song will be performed by her on the 24th of November during the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2019, to be held in Gliwice-Silesia in Poland!
