Saara Aalto got married and announces an online concert for 1st of May!

Saara Aalto has been involved in a lot of things after her appearance at Eurovision. Heading up to her birthday 2nd of May she has revealed some of the biggest news to her fans. Saara got married to Meri after their three and a half year-long engagement. Their wedding was held at a private registry in Helsinki. Even though they originally planned a big wedding in Europe this summer it was cancelled due to the pandemic. Saara also announced they are launching a podcast ”No Fear – Rohkeampi minä” – on her birthday. But that is not all as she will be also starting a 5 week long online singing masterclass – more info here.

All of her fans will have a chance to listen to Saara performing a QUEENS LIVE! – Birthday concert on 1st of May at 20:00 CET at her Facebook page where she will be singing two of the fans choices “Never Enough” from The Greatest Showman and “Dance Like Nobody’s Watching” and many other songs.

She also joined a group of musical theatre stars to prepare a mash-up to show support to all the people in these times through the thing they do best which is singing. In addition to all the projects, Saara also voiced a seahorse in the new season of Moomin Valley for Yle.

Saara Aalto represented Finland at Eurovision 2018 with the song “Monster” and Finland qualified after three consecutive unsuccessful attempts to do so. She ended the contest as 25th.
