Malta: Destiny to come back to the contest in 2021

Back in February it was announced that Destiny will represnt Malta in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2020 which was to take place in Rotterdam. Yet, the contest was cancelled due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 around Europe and the world.

After numerous rumours concerning Destiny’s participation in the contest next year it was announced earlier today on the Maltese X Factor winner’s instagram page that she will represent the mediterranean archipelago in the next edition of Eurovision.

So happy to share this good news with all of you! I will represent my country Malta, in next year’s Eurovision’s Song Contest! .

Thank you for your support and I promise that I will give it my all to make you proud!

This isn’t the first experience of Destiny with the world of Eurovision. Destiny represented Malta in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest back in 2015 where she won the contest with her song “Not My Soul”
