All three Eesti Laul shows to be held in Saku Suurhall!

ETV has decided that the Saku Suurhall in Tallinn is going to be the venue of both semi-finals and the grand final of Eesti Laul 2021.  Saku Suurhall has hosted the final of Eesti Laul on previous occasions, however this the first time that the semi-finals will take place there as well.

The decision to move all three shows in one big hall has been made to ensure the safety of the participants, the staff and all the people involved in the event. This way, all the semi-finalists will have the opportunity to get a big stage experience! It was originally planned to hold the semi-finals in the ETV Studios.

Tomi Rahula, the Executive Producer of Eesti Laul, commented on that matter.

In the past, it was the case that the chances in the finals were greater, because Saku Suurhall allows it with its spaciousness. Now we have full capacity in the semi-finals as well. This way we can offer all semi-finalists a final stage and basically three finals for TV viewers.

Saku Suurhall is not an unfamiliar place to the Eurovision fans, as the Eurovision Song Contest itself was held there in 2002.

The semi-finals of Eesti Laul 2021 are going to take place on February 18th and 20th with 12 songs each. On both nights, 6 songs will then qualify to the grand final, which will take place on March 6th.

Have you listened to the songs of Eesti Laul 2021 already? Who would you like to represent Estonia in Rotterdam this year?
