Blas Cantó reveals more about the Spanish selection show!

In an interview on TVE.es, this year’s Spanish Eurovision entrant, Blas Cantó has revealed more about the show to select this year’s Spanish entry. In the interview he talks about the two songs in the running:

‘I recorded about ten songs. Some were very radio friendly, but they didn’t seem competitive for Eurovision. We chose these two because they fulfilled everything we expected from meat Eurovision and also about the production and staging of both. I love both of them’

‘The first song is very catchy, and memorable The second is an incredible song, it breathes a lot of sensitivity and strength at the same time. Of course, I’m going to stick with what the public decides.’ I  don’t have a particular favourite. I choose one or the other depending on the day. That is the absolute truth and I think that either one of them will be great for Eurovision.’

He also revealed more about the selection  show itself:

‘We wanted to create a special and different show. It’s not going to be a very long one, but it will bynamic, exciting and fun. The organising team is excellent and has great ideas. There will be Eurovision faces , of course. We are still deciding on the songs and the collaborations for that night.’

In the full interview, Blas also talks about the rest of his plans for 2021, and what he has learned about himself over the past year. You can check that interview (in Spanish) right here .
