Eurovision themed set of nine online music lessons part of Méér Muziek in de Klas will be having the goal to inspire teachers to include music in their classrooms and it has been revealed that the ones to be part of those videos are the hosts of  Eurovision Song Contest 2021:  Chantal Janzen, Jan Smit, Edsilia Rombley and Nikkie de Jager in addition to them also Duncan Laurence and Jeangu Macrooy are making their appearance in the videos.  Méér Muziek in de Klas is committed to structural music education for all 1.6 million primary school children in the Netherlands and is this year’s social partner of the Eurovision Song Contest.

The lessons are in Dutch language and they target the upper years of primary education who can access them via Schooltv. First lesson has been released on 6th of April and each week there will be one released while there will be a daily release during Eurovision week.

As an artist and mother, I have experienced that good music education is important for the development of children. I really like that I can now contribute to this with Méér Muziek in de Klas and Schooltv and show young children how much fun the Eurovision Song Contest is.
