Eurovision: Europe Shine A Light nominated for a Rockie Award!

Eurovision: Europe Shine a Light has been nominated for a Rockie Award in the category of the best Comedy and Variety show at the 42nd edition of the ceremony.

Eurovision: Europe Shine a Light took place on 16th of May 2020 and it was an alternative show  made following the cancellation of the Eurovision Song Contest 2020.

The list of the nominees in the category include:

  • Baroness Von Sketch Show (Frantic Films, Canada)
  • Famalam (BBC, BBC Studios, UK)
  • Frankenstein: How to Make a Monster (Battersea Arts Center, BBC, The Space, UK)
  • Top Gear (BBC, BBC Studios, UK)

The 42nd Rockie Awards ceremony will be streamed live on Tuesday 15th of June with the beginning at 21:00 CET on. They are taking part of The Banff World Media Festival which is an international media event held  Banff, Alberta, Canada. The festival is dedicated to world television and digital content and its creation and development, and is owned and operated by Brunico Communications. it is open to all genres and platforms including drama, non-fiction, digital, kids, youth, podcasts etc.
