Vienna will have a Euro Fan Café!

For the period from 17th to 24th of May, the Austrian capital is preparing yet another venue for Eurovision fans – Euro Fan Café – which will be located in EMS Lounge in Dietrichgasse 25, Vienna.

The Eurovision Song Contest is not just a famous music competition. It’s much more than that! Besides the already planned Euroclub in Ottakringer Brauerei and Eurovision Village at Rathausplatz, the hosts of this year’s Eurovision Song Contest have brought back the oh, so missed Euro Fan Café.

Access to Euroclub will have accredited delegations, journalists and fans, whereas Eurovision Village will be publicly accessible. Entrance to the Euro Fan Café will also not require accreditation.

The location of the Euro Fan Café will be the former Siemens Forum, which can accommodate up to 800 people and will serve as a focal point for fans from around the world. During the day, the venue will serve as a place for exchanging thoughts and meeting up with friends and fellow fans, whereas in the evenings, the hall will become a party hot spot.

The Euro Fan Café is scheduled to have a “Eurovision Disco,” a Cover Contest and a place for public viewing during the semi-final and grand final evenings. Admission will be free of charge during the day, and for the evening shows and programmes, one will have to get a weekly pass. Eurovision Song Contest stars are also planned to be performing in the café.
