The public to choose the Bosnian song for Eurovision 2015?

The national broadcaster of Bosnia & Herzegovina informed that they will announce the official decision regarding participation in Eurovision Song Contest 2015 on this Friday, 31st October. If the decision will be positive, Bosnia & Herzegovina will return to the competition after a two year break.

Local media already started speculations about next Bosnian entry, and most of them named band Hari Mata Hari as the performer who will represent this country in Vienna. This gossip reached Serbian media as well, where Hari is very famous due to his music and TV-appearances. He is currently the judge in a talent-show “Pinkove zvezde” on Pink Television in Serbia.

Hari Mata Hari represented Bosnia & Herzegovina at the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest with the ballad “Lejla”, composed by Zeljko Joksimovic. It is because of this that Serbian newspapers claim this duo should work together again. Yesterday, newspaper “Blic” managed to get a comment from Hari about these rumours. He said if the Eurovision contract with BHRT will be signed, he will be more than happy to represent Bosnia & Hercegovina again. He said:

I am planning to do a TV show where I will present five new songs, and the public will then decide which song is the best one. The winning song will be performed in Vienna.

That means Hari would like to go to Eurovision with his own song.

The official announcement will be published on Friday, and it will end all speculations regarding Bosnian participation and Hari Mata Hari’s comeback to the contest. The actual local media attention proved that if Hari Mata Hari will perform in Vienna, he can be easily considered as one of hot favourites to win the whole show.
