Melodifestivalen first semifinal: Eric Saade and Jessica Andersson to the final!

The first semifinal of Melodifestivalen has just come to an end from the Scandinavium in Göteborg and the results are in.

After an hour and a half of show, where we caught up with Sanna Nielsen, last year’s entry for Sweden, seven acts have performed out of the 28 candidates for representing Sweden this year in Vienna.

Eric Saade and Jessica Andersson have qualified for the final, that will be held next 14th of March at Friends Arena in Stockholm. Meanwhile, two other acts have qualified for the Andra Chansen round in Helsingborg, next 7th of March: Dolly Style and Behrang Miri & Victor Croné.

Molly Pettersson Hammar and Daniel Gildenlöw had to leave the competition straight away after the first round of voting, meanwhile the third act eliminated was Elize Ryd & Rickard Söderberg.

Next week, seven other acts will compete to represent Sweden, with two acts qualifying for the final and two acts qualifying for Andra Chansen.

Horrible results. Elize&Rickard should’ve gone straight to the final, and not Saade. And Dolly Style, WTF?
