It’s Bilal Hassani for France!

Tonight it was time for the final of Destination Eurovision, the French national selection for Eurovision. Eight performances participated the final, and those eight finalists were:

  1. Chimène Badi – Là-Haut
  2. Silvàn Areg – Allez Leur Dire
  3. The Divaz – La Voix d’Aretha
  4. Emmanuel Moire – La Promesse
  5. Doutson – Sois Un Bon Fils
  6. Seemone – Tous Les Deux
  7. Bilal Hassani – Roi
  8. Aysat – Comme Une Grande

The winner was selected 50/50 by the international juries and televotes. The international juries gave their votes first. The ten juries came from Spain, Albania, Russia, Italy, Israel, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Germany, Belarus and Cyprus . After the juries had voted, the score board looked like this:

  1. Seemone – Tous Les Deux
  2. Silvàn Areg – Allez Leur Dire
  3. Emmanuel Moire – La Promesse
  4. Chimène Badi – Là-Haut
  5. Bilal Hassani – Roi
  6. The Divaz – La Voix d’Aretha
  7. Aysat – Comme Une Grande
  8. Doutson – Sois Un Bon Fils

After the juries it was time for the televotes. Once the televotes were added to the jury votes, the final result was this:

  1. Bilal Hassani – Roi, 200 points
  2. Seemone – Tous Les Deux, 156 points
  3. Chimène Badi – Là-Haut, 119 points
  4. Emmanuel Moire – La Promesse, 115 points
  5. Silvàn Areg – Allez Leur Dire, 102 points
  6. The Divaz – La Voix d’Aretha, 92 points
  7. Aysat – Comme Une Grande, 38 points
  8. Doutson – Sois Un Bon Fils, 18 points

So after a very exciting final, it was Bilal Hassani who took the first place and will carry the French flag in Tel Aviv in May. We congratulate the winner and all the contestants for making it to the final!

    France chose the wrong entry for Tel Aviv! This song is boring because there were better entries at the final of Destination Eurovision. With “Roi” France will end on the right side of the scoreboard.
