In this year’s Czech selection, 10 international juries have voted, as well as international Eurovision fans who’s votes counted as an 11th jury member. Their juries and the international Eurovision fans gave out their 12 points as follows:

• Zibbz: Barbora Mochowa
• Ira Losco: Lake Malawi
• Elina Nechayeva: Lake Malawi
• AWS: Andrea Hola
• Alma: Barbora Mochowa
• Ari Olafsson: Lake Malawi
• JOWST: Lake Malawi
• Ryan O’Shaughnessy: Lake Malawi
• International Eurovision fans: Barbora Mochowa

After all of the full votes of the international jury and fans were combined, each entry got deserving points and the list was as follows:

1. Barbora Mochowa – True Colors – 108 – 12 pts
2. Lake Malawi – Friend Of A Friend – 108 – 12 pts
3. Pam Rabbit – Easy To Believe – 54 – 10 pts
4. Andrea Holá – Give Me a Hint – 53 – 8 pts
5. Jakub Ondra – Space Sushi – 49 – 6 pts
6. Tomáš Bocek – Don’t Know Why – 49 – 6 pts
7. Hana Barbara – Poslední slova tobě – 45 – 4 pts
8. Jára Vymer – On My Knees – 40 – 3 pts

After the results of the Czech public were added, the final results were as follows:

1. Lake Malawi – Friend Of A Friend – 12 + 10 pts = 22
2. Jakub Ondra – Space Sushi – 6 + 12 pts = 18
3. Pam Rabbit – Easy To Believe – 10 + 8 pts = 18
4. Barbora Mochowa – True Colors – 12 + 6 pts = 18
5. Andrea Holá – Give Me a Hint – 8 + 4 pts = 12
6. Tomáš Bocek – Don’t Know Why – 6 + 3 pts = 9
7. Jára Vymer – On My Knees – 3 + 2 pts = 5
8. Hana Barbara – Poslední slova tobě – 4 + 1 pt = 5

And that’s how we got our fourth act for Eurovision 2019 – Lake Malawi with “Friend Of A Friend” will fly the colors of the Czech flag in Tel Aviv. You can listen to the winning song here:

Lake Malawi are Albert Černy, Jeroným Šubrt and Antonín Hrabal. Their debut album was released in 2017 by the name “Surrounded By Light” We had a great pleasure to meet up with the lead singer of the band – Albert, earlier this month.
