The second semi final of Latvia’s Supernova has just finished and we now know the final four qualifiers for the final which will take place in Riga on 16th February. They are:

• Double Faced Eels – ‘Fire‘
• Markus Riva – ‘You Make Me So Crazy’
• Dzili Violets‘ft. Kozmens – ‘Tautas dziesma’
• Carousel – ‘That Night’

The result was determined by a mix of jury and televoting.
Each contestant gained feedback from a panel which was made up of :
DJ Rudd – Music Editor for Pieci.lv Radio
Linda Leen – Singer (and Supernova semi-finalist from 2017)
Ralfs Eilands – from PeR (Eurovision 2013)
Artis Dvarionas – Radio Producer

They join the qualifiers from last week’s semi final who were:

• Samanta Tina – ‘Cutting The Wire‘
• Edgars Kreilis – ‘Cherry Absinthe’
• Aivo Oskis – ‘Somebody’s Got My Lover’
• Laime Pilniga – ‘Awe’

Whilst this appears to complete the line up for the final, there is still the chance of a wildcard, so there may also be an additional chance given to one of the unsuccessful semi-finalists, so all is not lost if your favourite did not make it through. We will share news of that once we know more!
