Selection committee reviews the submissions for Pesma za Evroviziju 2025
Less than a month ago the submission window for Pesma za Evroviziju 2025 has closed and the Serbian broadcaster, RTS has revealed that the total of 222 entries were in the running to take part at the national selection.
The selection committee has gathered in the RTS Studios in Belgrade yesterday in order to review all of the submitted entries. Their work continues today, the committee will select the acts which will be split in two semi-finals set to take place on 25th and 27th of February while the final is scheduled for 1st of March. All of the contestants are expected to be revealed this month.
As in the previous editions of the show the decision of the winner will be made 50% by the jury votes and 50% by the audience. The 4th edition of Pesma za Evroviziju is going by the slogan “Beauty will save the world” (Lepota će spasiti svet). As previous years Sky Music is the one responsible for the stage, production and visual identity of the show.
At Eurovision Song Contest 2024 Serbia was represented by Teya Dora whose “Ramonda” scored 54 points in the final of the show which was enough for the 17th place. You can check out the performance below
