Claudia Faniello has confirmed her attendance for this year’s Eurovision Weekend in Berlin, and in doing so will join fellow Maltese artists, Kurt Calleja (2012) and Glen Vella (2011) to make it a Maltese triple bill.
The Eurovision Weekend in Berlin will take place from 14th-16th July. It is now in it’s sixth year and has become one of the biggest get-togethers for Eurovision fans in the summer. Each year the organisers (the Berlin fan gorup; OGAE Germany and EC Germany) work with another OGAE group and having worked in the past with Finland, Israel, UK, Denmark and The Netherlands, this year it is the turn of OGAE Malta.
In addition to the live performances, there is a host of activities planned to cover the whole weekend. This will include the OGAEvision contest in which each OGAE group can nominate a singer to perform their version of a Eurovision song. There will also be Eurovision karaoke and (of course) a Eurovision disco.
