Operación Triunfo 2018 has lasted several months. Starting out with 18 contestants back in September, the final gala was held last night.
Julia ended in 5th place, 4th was Sabela and after that we moved on with the top 3!
When host Roberto Leal announced the final results, the first thing he let us know was that 3rd-placer Natalia had received a respectable 29% of the votes.
There was, however, only a 1%-difference between first and second place: 35% against 36%!
It turned out that Famous had narrowly beaten Alba Reche to pole position and he was crowned the winner of the season!
The song he impressed with last night was ‘Faith’ (originally by Stevie Wonder and Ariana Grande), which earned him praise from the Operación Triunfo jury members:
