The first important date for all the Eurovision participants, national broadcasters, and of course, Eurovision fans, is the 26th of January, when the semi final allocation draw will take place. On the same day, the Mayor of Copenhagen (the last Eurovision host city) will hand over the keys to the Mayor of Vienna, the next Eurovision host city.

The next important dates are regarding the Head of Delegations meeting in Vienna, where the Heads of Delegations of every participating country need to officially hand in all the documentation regarding their entry, as well as the songs. The Heads of Delegations meeting will be over two days, as usual, and that will be on the 16th and the 17th of March. They will also be presented with all the important facts regarding Eurovision 2015.

The first rehearsals in Wiener Stadthalle will start on the 11th of May (Monday), while the Welcome Reception will take place on the 17th of May in the Vienna City Hall.

The ticket sale will also start soon, as the first series of tickets for both semi finals, the final, and the dress rehearsals (nine shows in total) will be put on sale in mid-November. The “Building Bridges” logo, as well as the look of the stage, and the presenters of the next Eurovision Song Contest will all be announced by the end of the year.
