Eden Alene will be representing Israel at Eurovision 2020!

Since 2015, Israel have been choosing their representative through the talent show HaKokhav HaBa L’Eurovizion and this year was no exception!
The most recent edition has just been won by Eden Alene who touched hearts with her rendition of Beyoncé’s ‘Halo’.

Eden was the favourite singer of the jury (consisting of a judging panel which included amongst others Shiri Maimon and several jury groups, one of them being Eurovision 2018 winner Netta Barzilai!).
The votes from the viewers at home were added to these scores and the placings of the superfinalists revealed in one go, after which we learned that Eden has won with 260 points!

Now that Israel have their artist, choosing the song will be the next step.
That will happen on the 3rd of March, when Eden will sing 4 songs and judging panel, jury groups and app voters together will determine which song she’ll travel to Rotterdam with to represent her country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2020!
