Erika Vikman, the runner-up of this year’s Uuden musiikin kilpailu (UMK), has released a new song. You can listen to the song Syntisten pöytä (Table of Sinners) here:

Erika Vikman first came into the knowledge of Eurovision fans in the beginning of this year, when it was announced that she would be one of the six artists taking part in UMK 2020. Her song Cicciolina quickly became a fan favorite of the contest. In the end, Vikman finished second in UMK 2020, right after the winner Aksel Kankaanranta.

In spring Vikman participated not only in UMK, but also the contest Masked Singer Finland, where Finnish celebrities performed in costumes and a four-member panel and public tried to guess who were the celebrities behind the costumes. Vikman finished third in Masked Singer Finland with her character Ampiainen (Wasp). In the contest Vikman made many amazing performances, including her version of the Eurovision 2012 winning song Euphoria:

Syntisten pöytä is Vikman’s first solo single since Cicciolina. In her new song Vikman continues with the themes of her UMK entry. In her last week’s Instagram post Vikman told that she is at least as excited of Syntisten pöytä than she was of Cicciolina.
