It was almost a year ago (11 months to be exact) when Swiss broadcaster announced that they’re sending Gjon’s Tears to Rotterdam, to represent Switzerland at the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest, with Répondez-Moi. Following its cancellation, due to the coronavirus pandemic, Swiss broadcaster announced, on 20 March 2020, that he would represent Switzerland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 again, with a new song.

Today, one of the fans asked broadcaster on Twitter, if there is already a release date for Gjon’s song – and here’s the answer:

SRF revealed that the song itself will be released in March, the exact date is still being discussed.

Gjon’s Tears was selected to represent Switzerland on two occasions, both in 2020 in 2021. In 2020 he was selected to represent the nation with the song Répondez-Moi. Listen to the song below:
