Ayana will represent The Netherlands at Junior Eurovision 2021 with ‘Mata Sugu Aō Ne’!

The annual Dutch national final for Junior Eurovision has just finished and that means there is a winner: It’s Ayana who will represent The Netherlands!
She was victorious on stage in the very same venue that hosted the Eurovision Song Contest in May, Ahoy in Rotterdam.

Here she can be seen posing after her victory with hosts Romy Monteiro (far left) & Buddy Vedder (far right) and jury members, three of the hottest artists in the country right now (from left to right): Jeangu Macrooy (The Netherlands 2020 & 2021), Rolf Sanchez and Emma Heesters:

Ayana, who has Japanese roots, will sing her song ‘Mata Sugu Aō Ne’, which means ‘When I See You Again’. It is the very first time a song featuring Dutch, English and Japanese is featured at the contest and it is about missing someone who is special to you but is so far away and wishing you could fly so you could be with that person.

Ayana will represent The Netherlands in Paris, France on Sunday the 19th of December!
