Farida Wins The Second Semi-Final Of Melodi Grand Prix 2022!

The qualifier from the second semi final and the 7th finalist of Melodi Grand Prix 2022 is Farida with the song “Dangerous”!

In the first part of the show,  Lily Löwe and Steffen Jakobsen faced-off in the first duel, and after the public votes, Steffen Jakobsen advanced to the gold duel. In the second duel,  Daniel Lukas and Farida were the ones which performed their song for the place in the gold duel and Farida won the opportunity to perform the song once again.

In the gold duel, there were Steffen Jakobsen and Farida, who were competing for the ticket to the final and after receiving most audience votes Farida was the one who advanced through to the Final, scheduled for 19th February. In addition to that audience got a chance to listen to the performance of one finalists and this Saturday it was Christian Ingebrigtsen who performed  “Wonder of The World”. The remaining acts of the semi-final: Lily Lowe, Daniel Lukas and Steffen Jakobsen all have a chance to get a ticket for the final in the second chance round which is set for the 12th of February. The second chance round will look a bit different this year as first it will feature a show on Monday 7th of February with all 12 non qualifiers and then out of them the 4 with the most votes will advance to the second chance round where they will face off in duels.

On Monday NRK has revealed all 21 acts which are competing at Melodi Grand Prix 2022. You can listen to songs and find more about artists HERE. And don’t forget to vote for your favourites from the remaining semi-finals below
