The third preview show of this year’s edition of Belgium’s Eurosong – Songclub finished moments ago. In tonight’s show two acts have picked their song for Saturday’s Final. As we reported earlier, Hunter Falls first selected “Ooh La La” as his pick for the Final, and then we had a chance to meet Ameerah, and listen to both of her entries – “Armageddon” and “The Carnival”.

Prior to performing, we saw a couple of clips of Ameerah, including a vlog she made at the Griffith Park in downtown Los Angeles, as she resides in the US. We also saw some pictures and got information about her collaborations with Tiesto, as well as with Jennifer Lopez. After the quick chat with the host, she performed her two songs – “Armageddon” and “The Carnival”.

After both of Ameerah’s performances, the host had one-on-one chats with the remaining six acts. The Starlings said that Ameerah has two really hit-songs. Hunter loved the mix of rock and soft-pop in “Armageddon”. Gustaph said that “The Carnival” has a very Eurovision feeling to it, but he loved the feelings Ameerah gave them during “Armageddon”. Chérine loved the lyrics about “freaks and superstars”. gala dragot loved “The Carnival” because of its melody and catchiness.

At the end, Ameerah was also presented with an envelope with the title of the song her competition selected, and they recommended “The Carnival”. Ameerah said they made a good choice, and that she is going to be taking “The Carnival” to the final.

In tomorrow’s show we are going to hear the two songs of gala dragot, and one of the two songs of Gustaph.
