Last Saturday the grand final of Festival da Canção 2025, Portuguese selection for Eurovision Song Contest took place. The winner of the show was traditionally chosen by a mix of jury votes (50%) and televoting (50%). NAPA will be waving the Portuguese flag in Basel in the first half of the first semi-final which is set to take place on 13th of May. Today RTP has revealed the full televote results for the three shows.

Semi-final 1 (22nd of February) – Jury and televote points

1. Xico Gaiato – Ai Senhor!  – 5 + 7 = 12 points 
2. Rita Sampaio – Voltas – 1 + 1 = 2 points 
3. Du Nothin – Sobre nós – 4 + 2 = 6 points 
4. Marco Rodrigues – A minha casa – 2 + 12 = 14 points 
5. Margarida Campelo – Eu sei que o amor – 12 + 3 = 15 points 
6. JOSH – Tristeza – 7 + 6 = 13 points 
7. Capital da Bulgária – Lisboa – 8 + 4 = 12 points 
8. Bluay – Ninguém – 10 + 5 = 15 points 
9. Jéssica Pina – Calafrio – 6 + 8 = 14 points 
10. Peculiar – Adamastor – 3 + 10 = 13 points

2. Diana Vilarinho – Cotovia – 12 + 5 (5,91%) = 17 points 
3. Fernando Daniel – Medo – 8 + 8 (15,57%)= 16 points 
4. Henka – I Wanna Destroy U – 0 + 12 (29,83%) = 12 points 
5. JOSH – Tristeza – 5 + 7 (8,74%) = 12 points 
6. Jéssica Pina – Calafrio  – 10 + 2 (2,19%) = 12 points 
7. Bombazine – Apago tudo – 2 + 6 (5,98%) = 8 points 
8. Marco Rodrigues – A minha casa – 3 + 4 (3,34%) = 7 points 
9. Margarida Campelo – Eu sei que o amor – 6 + 0 (1%) = 6 points 
10. Peculiar – Adamastor – 1 + 3 (2,78%)= 4 points 
11. Emmy Curl – Rapsódia da paz – 4 + 0 (1,80%)= 4 points 
12. Bluay – Ninguém – 0 + 1 (1,82%)= 1 point 

Even though NAPA and Diana Vilarinho were tied for the first place with 17 points the tie breaker of Festival da Canção is to rank the one who received more points from the audience higher hence we have NAPA as the winners of the show and even though there was the tie for the 4th place with Henka, JOSH and Jéssica Pina all getting 12 points the same rule was used there as well. In addition to that RTP ahs recorded a drop in its viewership as an average of 450,000 viewers watched the show with the average share of 11.5%. The peak was during the results, with around 621,000 viewers and a share of 16.4%.
