Live: Eurovision – You Decide!

Tonight sees the first UK national final for Eurovision since 2010’s ‘Your Country Needs You!’, which selected Josh Dubovie to sing the song ‘That Sounds Good To Me’ in Oslo. The BBC have used an internal selection process since 2010 but following a string of disappointing results they have opted to once again ask the public for their help in choosing the UK entry.

Mel Giedroyc will host the show, which will also contain performances from last year’s Eurovision winner Måns Zelmerlöw and the last UK winner Katrina who will perform her winning song ‘Love Shine A Light’.

The competing songs were selected from an open submission, with assistance from the UK branch of OGAE (the official Eurovision fan club). Those final six songs are:

1. Joe and Jake – ‘You’re Not Alone’
2. Bianca Claxton – ‘Shine a Light’
3. Dulcima – ‘When You Go’
4. Matthew James – ‘A Better Man’
5. Darline – ‘Until Tomorrow’
6. Karl William Lund – ‘Miracle’

The show will be broadcast live from the O2 Forum in Kentish Town, London and you can follow all of the action right here with our live blog.
