This evening sees the final ‘HaKokhav HaBa L’Eirovizion’ (The Next Star for Eurovision), this year’s method of selecting the Israeli entry.

After numerous shows, the final is the first live show of the series. Four singers still remain in the competition, and by the end of the show, one will be crowned the winner and will go on to represent Israel at the Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm in May.

In the first round, all four singers will perform and the three with the highest scores will go through to the next round where they will perform their chosen potential Eurovision song. The singer who scores the highest number of points will win!

The four potential Eurovision songs which were revealed earlier this week are:

Ella Daniel – Somebody Out There (David Maman, Phillip Hayon)
Gil Hadash – Follow the Sun (Stav Beger, Tom Gefen)
Hovi Star – Made of Stars (Doron Madalie)
Nofar Salman – Made of Stars (Doron Madalie)
