Ana Kodra wins Junior Fest Albania with ‘Mos ma prekni pemën’!

Last June Ana Kodra won the 55th edition of Festivali i Këngës për Fëmijë (Song Festival for Children), a festival that has been running since 1993. Back then she expressed her desire to represent Albania at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest later that year, but she had to wait for RTSH to lay out their plans regarding their participation in the contest.

As it turned out later, Albania would be choosing their entry through the national final Junior Fest Albania, which was held tonight. Sixteen contestants were presents and the winner was… Ana Kodra again! With the very same song even! Ana’s song is called  ‘Mos ma prekni pemën’, which means ‘Do Not Touch the Tree’), the song was composed by Kristi Popës and had its lyrics written by Jorgo Papingjit.

Ana Kodra will be performing ‘Mos ma prekni pemën’ for Albania at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Tbilisi, Georgia on November 26.

When watching the national selection, the writing that was on the screen stated that Ana Kodra is 10 years of age. When exactly did she turn 10?
