Daneliya Tuleshova will represent Kazakhstan in Minsk!

Kazakhstan’s first ever national selection for any of the Eurovision events took part tonight, where they selected their entry for the 2018 Junior Eurovision Song Contest. In a 10 song field, the winner was chosen by a mix of televoting and jury votes. After coming first with the televoters and second with the juries, the winner was Daneliya Tuleshova with the song “Ozine sen”.

Daneliya Tuleshova already has singing experience, as she won the fourth season of “The Voice Kids Ukraine”, and also competed in various national and international competitions, including the New Wave Junior festival. With her song “Ozine sen” she won the hearts of the televoters in Kazakhstan, as she received almost three times as many votes as the song that finished in second place. She will go on to represent Kazakhstan in Minsk, and will thus be the first ever Kazakh entrant in a Eurovision event.

What do you think of her song?
