The EBU have announced that they’re going to give fans the chance to vote for their favourite semi final songs in the next Eurovision Again show next month.
Over the past few months The EBU have been showing old contests on their Youtube channel each month, with fans live tweeting their opinions of the show. On 19th December the EBU will be live streaming a Eurovision Again Semi-Final Special on their YouTube channel, with fans getting the chance to choose the twenty competing songs and vote for a winner.
Throughout November on Eurovision’s Instagram Stories account, the EBU will be asking fans to let them know their favourite song from every country that has not qualified for the Grand Final more than once since the Eurovision Semi-Finals were first introduced in 2004. The EBU will also be asking twelve sites and podcasts from the Eurovision fan community to select their ten favourite non-qualifiers.
The 20 most popular songs will be revealed live in a specially curated running order at the Eurovision Again Semi-Final special at 21.00 CET on Saturday 19 December on the Eurovision’s Youtube channel.
You can vote for your favourite songs by checking out Eurovision’s Instagram Stories account every day between 6th and 23rd November.
Aswell as this, the Eurovision Instagram page will select one reply each day at random, where the winner will win a goodie bag filled with Eurovision merchandise!

I love the idea! But I dislike the voting system. So I can only vote for one song from each country? And I can’t vote for songs from countries that missed out on the finals only once? That sucks. Why not make it easy and fair for the voters and let us vote for, let’s say, ten songs no matter what country they represent? This doesn’t sound like a second chance contest to me, more a “top of each country”.
